Entanglement
Initially, we all seem to attach ourselves to people, places and things with a positive outlook. As time goes on we confuse love with possession and control. Instead of enjoying food, a clean house, or the clothes we wear, we begin to see these relationships as a chore. We become entangled, over committed, and overwhelmed with what began as enjoyable and satisfying acts. One’s home is now a chore to keep clean and food is a necessary inconvenience - shopping for it, eating it and cleaning up are sometimes not worth the effort. We become consumed by the emotions that now drive us to keep the house clean, cook and dress ourselves.
